Raewyn Duvall
Raewyn is a PhD student at CMU under Red Whittaker and Anthony Rowe. She studies how to find small rovers on other planets without the use of GPS and with minimal power consumption. She loves to learn and holds two Masters; she plans to accrue more during her career as she will never leave school. After designing and building prototype robots at NASA’s Swamp Works, Raewyn left for CMU to send Iris to the Moon. Her dreams of space exploration have driven her through her career, but also stands out in her Dogonauts - all her rescue dogs are named after Soviet Space Dogs, a.k.a. Pupniks. She’s proud to be sending a memorial of her first Dogonaut, Mishka, to the Moon on this mission.
